A. Running or working at a business that combines outdoor adventure and hospitality — maybe a mountain bike lodge or surf camp. Either that or landscape design.
A. I started in animal health at Putney in 2013. Being part of a start-up company in little old Portland, ME, was incredible. What drew me in was Putney’s mission—to make high-quality veterinary medicine more affordable and accessible. I was fortunate to work with a fantastic team, many of whom are still at Dechra today. That experience shaped how I approach my leadership style and why I’m passionate about this industry today.
A. My favorite memory was celebrating Dechra’s 20th Anniversary in the UK. I loved connecting with colleagues from around the world and was inspired by how we all shared the same sense of what Dechra’s culture means—it’s rare to see such genuine alignment across countries.
A. For me, the most rewarding part is helping people grow and succeed — whether it’s supporting my team or assisting customers in overcoming challenges. I enjoy building relationships and witnessing the impact we can achieve together. Knowing that our work ultimately improves animals' lives makes it even more fulfilling and meaningful.
A. “Listen first. When in doubt, listen more.”
